When is check-in?

Contactless check-in is available starting at 4pm. Please inquire about early check-in by reaching out to hello@stayorli.com or calling 858.727.2776.

How do I check-in?

Our seamless, contactless check-in process is handled through the Orli Portal. You will receive a unique access code to your room one hour prior to your check-in time via text message. Please note, this unique code will not work until your check-in time.

Is there a front desk?

The Orli experience allows guests a high level of autonomy during arrival and throughout their stay, which includes an all-digital check-in experience. With that said, we do have a concierge stationed in our courtyard, and you can reach us anytime by clicking the icon in the top right of your Web App homepage, or by calling or texting 858.727.2776. Concierge is onsite 8am-8pm and remains available after hours as needed.

How do I use my access code and keypad door lock?

To access your room or any common areas, follow the below instructions:

1. To enter, please press your palm up against the black keypad to illuminate the screen.

2. Punch in your unique access code followed by the checkmark button.

Doors do not lock automatically – tap the small button on the lock hardware (located above the handle on the interior side of the door) to lock your door. 

How do I Check-Out?

Our check-out process is handled electronically. While our standard check-out time is 12:00 PM, late check-out is available for a fee and subject to availability.

How Do I Access Orli After Hours?

Your unique access code works for both your room and the main property gates, allowing for 24/7 secure entry.

What Sets Orli Apart from other Boutique Hotels in La Jolla or San Diego?

Orli La Jolla is a 13-room boutique hotel awarded One MICHELIN Key, housed within a meticulously restored historic landmark designed by Irving Gill. Guests connect with the property through our dedicated concierge based in the Courtyard, also available by text or phone and the Orli Portal web app. Our thoughtful amenities such as a complimentary Brew Bar featuring cold brew, kombucha, and filtered water, and elevated in-room details, including Flamingo Estate bath products, reinforce a residential, highly personalized experience where no request is too large or too small.

Does Orli have Wi-Fi?

Yes. Orli provides high-speed internet that supports video conferencing and remote work throughout the property.

Is Coffee Available?

Yes. Every room features a Nespresso machine. We also provide xBloom Drip Coffee in our Courtyard, cold brew on tap at the Brew Bar, and Chemex pour-over sets available on request.

Does Orli have On-Site Dining?

While we do not have on-site dining, Orli offers in-room food delivery from Blue Whale. Simply order via the Orli Web App, and it will be delivered directly to your room. Guests can also order food delivery (UberEats/DoorDash) to Orli.

Orli is located within .05 miles of numerous restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and more in downtown La Jolla.

Does Orli have a Gym?

While we do not have a gym on property, we offer a partnership with Life Time Fitness and can provide local recommendations for other exercise and wellness activities around La Jolla such as infrared sauna studios and cold plunge facilities.

Does Orli have EV Charging?

Is Parking available at Orli?

Due to our designation as a historical landmark, parking is extremely limited on-site. We offer:

  • Access to a nearby partner parking lot
  • Designated unloading zones
  • One EV Charging station in the rear carport
  • An on-call driver service for guests

Is there Luggage Storage available?

Yes. Please call 858.727.2776 to request storage.

Are there Laundry Facilities on-site?

We do not have self-service laundry on-site, but recommend Silverado Dry Cleaners for professional dry cleaning and laundry services in La Jolla. Drop off by 9AM for same-day service. If you need assistance, our Concierge is happy to provide further guidance and support regarding any laundry needs.

Does Orli have Housekeeping?

Yes. Ahead of your stay, you will receive a pre check-in questionnaire inquiring about your preferred date of cleaning. Additional cleaning may be requested through the Orli Web App, via text, or at the concierge desk.

Is the property ADA Accessible?

Yes, we offer ADA-compliant guest rooms and accessible routes throughout the property, and an ADA parking spot. Please contact us directly to ensure we book the specific room that meets your needs.

STAY DETAILS & POLICIES

How do I contact the concierge?

Our on-site concierge is available daily between 8:00AM and 8:00PM. To contact the concierge, you can visit the concierge desk in the Courtyard, call 858.727.2776, or via text.

Can I make special requests?

Yes. You can customize your guest experience through our on-site concierge, the Orli Web App, or via your room’s Apple TV. Book dining reservations, request games, or add-on wellness experiences and more.

Is Orli Dog-Friendly?

Yes. We welcome well-behaved dogs under 50lbs with a one-time fee of $100 per stay. Dogs must be leashed at all times and are not permitted on indoor common area furniture.

What is the Smoking Policy?

Orli is 100% smoke-free property. Smoking or vaping is prohibited in all guest rooms and common areas. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.

What is the Historic Preservation Fee?

This fee supports ongoing maintenance and preservation efforts of our landmark 1910-era San Diego building.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations may be canceled with a full refund 7 days prior to your check-in time. Those made 7 days or less from your check-in time will result in forfeiture of 50% of your deposit. Those made 72 hours or less will result in full forfeiture of your deposit.

For group bookings, cancellations must be made within 14 days of your reservation. Cancellations made within 14 days risk a forfeiture of the total booking.

For hotel buyouts, cancellations must be made 30 days before your reservation. Cancellations made within 30 days result in a forfeiture of the total booking.

Does Orli Offer Full Hotel Buyouts?

Yes, Orli offers full buyouts. Buyouts are perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, or family reunions, allowing you to experience the property as a private residence.

Can I Host a Wedding at Orli?

Yes. Orli is an ideal home base or getting-ready location for bridal parties, families, and intimate wedding groups.
