When is check-in?
Contactless check-in is available starting at 4pm. Please inquire about early check-in by reaching out to hello@stayorli.com or calling 858.727.2776.
How do I check-in?
Our seamless, contactless check-in process is handled through the Orli Portal. You will receive a unique access code to your room one hour prior to your check-in time via text message. Please note, this unique code will not work until your check-in time.
What does accessibility look like at Orli?
We have two ADA compliant guest rooms and we have made sure our lobby bathroom is also ADA accessible. Our ADA entrance is through the alleyway. There is also one ADA parking spot on property, located at the rear of the building. Please inform us if you need ADA parking or an ADA room so we can ensure you have the best experience possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions about our ADA rooms, accessibility, or require any assistance – we are happy to help!
Is there a front desk?
The Orli experience allows guests a high level of autonomy during arrival and throughout their stay, which includes an all-digital check-in experience. With that said, we do have a concierge stationed in our courtyard, and you can reach us anytime by clicking the icon in the top right of your Web App homepage, or by calling or texting 858.727.2776. Concierge is onsite 8am-8pm and remains available after hours as needed.
How do I use my access code and keypad door lock?
To access your room or any common areas, follow the below instructions:
1. To enter, please press your palm up against the black keypad to illuminate the screen.
2. Punch in your unique access code followed by the checkmark button.
Doors do not lock automatically – tap the small button on the lock hardware (located above the handle on the interior side of the door) to lock your door.
Is parking available at Orli?
Orli La Jolla is a designated historical landmark tucked in the heart of La Jolla and, therefore, on-property parking is extremely limited. We offer designated unloading spots just beyond our arched entryway, one EV charging station in our rear carport, as well as a nearby partner parking lot for guest use. Can I make special requests?
Absolutely, we want you to stay your way. At any time, you can customize your guest experience. Reach us via the Orli Portal to make dining reservations or request home comforts, from Patchology face masks to board games and treats. Or, choose from an array of add-on packages powered by local businesses. It’s all a tap away on your mobile device or via your room’s AppleTV.
Are pets welcome?
We welcome one well-behaved dog per room under 50lbs with a one-time fee of $100 per stay. Additional dogs or dogs over 50lbs may result in additional fees at the discretion of management. Dogs are required to be on leash at all times and are not allowed on indoor common area furniture. All pets must be attended at all times. You remain responsible for any damages caused by your pet to the room or the property. Other pets are not permitted.
How do I check-out?
Our contactless check-out process is handled electronically. While our standard check-out time is 12pm, late check-out is available for a fee and subject to availability.
Upon departing, please fill out the check-out form that was emailed to you. Then, type in 4444 followed by the checkmark on your door keypad to let us know your stay is complete.
What is the purpose of the Historic Preservation Fee?
This charge contributes to the ongoing preservation efforts of Orli La Jolla’s 1910-era San Diego landmark building and its original, century-old architecture.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can unexpectedly change. Reservations may be canceled with a full refund 7 days prior to your check-in time. Those made 7 days or less from your check-in time will result in forfeiture of 50% of your deposit. Those made 72 hours or less will result in full forfeiture of your deposit. Should you need to change or cancel your reservation, please email hello@stayorli.com or call 858.727.2776.
For reservations that consist of more than one guest room, cancellations must be made within 14 days of your check-in time. Cancellations made within 14 days risk a forfeiture of the total booking. For hotel buyouts or group hotel blocks, a separate set of policies apply that are viewable in your group contract.
Does Orli have dining options on property?
While we do not offer dining on-site, Orli La Jolla is located within half a mile of the area’s most celebrated restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and more. If opting to order in, our courtyard offers a convenient meeting spot for Uber Eats, Doordash, and beyond. For on-site refreshments, guests can purchase one of our add-on packages and enjoy our complimentary Brew Bar, which offers cold brew, kombucha, and filtered water.
Can I ship my belongings or packages to Orli?
Guests must contact the concierge at hello@stayorli.com prior to shipping their packages to Orli due to limited storage space.
