Orli La Jolla Featured in the LA Times

December 14, 2022

San Diego’s best kept secret? La Jolla in the wintertime. The weather has cooled, the crowds are gone, and the sunsets are more vibrant than ever. Take it from The Los Angeles Times, which recently featured Orli in an article titled “21 Ways to Experience the Cool Calm of La Jolla in the Winter.”

Written by Southern Californian Christopher Reynolds, this piece applauds the seaside town’s enduring attractions and new growth, noting “La Jolla is getting more attractive, which doesn’t seem fair.” Amongst a list of notable La Jolla experiences, Orli is featured with special mention of its iconic original architect, Irving Gill, bold Parisian Art Deco interiors, historic location, and new modus operandi – “there’s no front desk; guests typically contact staff through their phones.”
