Does Orli Offer Full Hotel Buyouts?

Yes, Orli offers full buyouts. Buyouts are perfect for wedding parties, corporate retreats, or family reunions, allowing you to experience the property as a private residence. A deposit is required from one form of payment.

Can I Host a Wedding at Orli?

Orli is an ideal home base or getting-ready location for bridal parties, families, and intimate wedding groups, but Orli is not a suitable wedding venue to host a ceremony at.

We are walking distance from popular wedding venues in La Jolla like the La Jolla Women’s club (directly next door), Cuvier Club, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Wedding Bowl, and more.

Does Orli Offer Room Blocks?

Yes, we offer room blocks for guests of weddings and group bookings.

Group Block Details:

Requires a commitment of all 13 rooms
No deposit required, with no obligation to book
Individual guests pay for and manage their own reservations
Unreserved rooms are released at a predetermined date
Shareable booking links are available for your wedding website or event page details

Can I Host a Private Event at Orli?

Private events are available exclusively with a full hotel buyout. Orli’s shared spaces like our Courtyard and Lounge are well-suited for cocktail parties, welcome receptions, and post-wedding brunches. All events must conclude by 10:00 PM per La Jolla’s community noise ordinance.

Group room blocks are not considered a full hotel buyout.

What is Orli’s Maximum Capacity for an Event?

Orli can accommodate up to 65 guests standing when the property is reserved for a full buyout.

Do You Have a Preferred Vendors List?

We are happy to share recommendations for trusted local vendors. We do not require the use of specific vendors, all outside vendors must carry proper licensing and insurance.

Can I take Wedding Photos at Orli?

Wedding photoshoots are welcome for registered guests. If you have an individual reservation, our team is happy to coordinate a time in our shared spaces that respects the privacy of other guests. Full buyout guests enjoy complete flexibility to capture photos at their leisure.

Are there Noise Restrictions?

Yes. La Jolla enforces a community-wide strict noise ordinance beginning at 10:00 PM each evening. All private events and gatherings at Orli must conclude by 10:00 PM. Our team is happy to recommend local venues with permits for later celebrations.

Can I Host my Wedding After-Party at Orli?

No. Due to La Jolla’s 10:00 PM noise ordinance, Orli is not suited for late-night after-parties.

Does Orli offer On-Site Food and Beverage Services?

While Orli does not have an on-site restaurant, we partner with exceptional local vendors like Urban Kitchen Group and Second Nature to provide on-site catering services. Outside catering is permitted with prior approval.

Does Orli provide Event Planning Services?

While we do not have an event planner, our Director of Guest Experience works personally with each group to curate a seamless weekend itinerary to ensure your stay and celebration are memorable.

Does Orli have Meeting Rooms or a Ballroom Space?

No, Orli is a boutique property housed within a La Jolla historical landmark. We do not offer traditional meeting rooms or ballroom facilities.

However, for groups requiring dedicated conference space, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) is located directly across the street from Orli and features stunning meeting venues with ocean views. Our team can arrange bookings at competitive rates.

Is Orli available for corporate retreats, buyouts, and executive off sites?

Yes, Orli is an exceptional choice for intimate corporate retreats, team-building, and off-sites. A full buyout is required.
