Your Guide to Wellness Studios in La Jolla
August 14, 2026
Most locals can point you to their go-to wellness spot by street name, not neighborhood. That’s how close together everything sits in La Jolla, all clustered within a few blocks of Draper Ave. For guests at Orli, nearly everything on the list is only a few minutes walk.
Head up to Girard Ave and you’ll find a few stops worth the trip. Trilogy Sanctuary occupies the rooftop, home to the only yoga dome in San Diego and an organic, vegan cafe with ocean views off the sky deck. A few doors down, Face Foundrié opened its first San Diego studio this spring, with facial, lash, and brow appointments built for a regular routine.
A few blocks over on Fay Ave, R3 Recover moves guests through five therapies in one session: compression, infrared sauna, cold plunge, hot plunge, and red light. Owners Kara and Jason built the sequence with intention, designed to support full-body recovery.
On Ivanhoe Ave, Cove Wellness has been running lymphatic drainage and colon hydrotherapy sessions since 1993, one of the longest-standing wellness spots in the Village. If it’s your first visit, start with the medicupping.
For hair, nails, or a facial, LifeSpa sits inside Life Time on Wall St and takes walk-ins from members and the public alike, no membership required.
And for Pilates, Amara Cor keeps every class capped at six people, rotating through the reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, and ladder barrel. Vanessa Mayer opened the studio in La Jolla Village in 2020, and it’s been a fixture ever since.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite, Parakeet Juicery on Silverado St is a few blocks from Draper. Order the Strawberry Glow (Hailey style) on your way out the door.
If leaving the room isn’t part of the plan, we’ve got that covered too. We partner with Mobile Massage and Wellness for massages and facials delivered straight to your room, or indulge in our selection of HigherDOSE products available to rent for the length of your stay: the Infrared Sauna Blanket, the PEMF Go Mat, and the Red Light Face Mask. Rent them individually, or book one of two packages: Total Body Reset, which includes all three, or Glow & Go, which pairs the Red Light Face Mask with a LATHER sheet mask.
